Thank you so much for your efforts. I have seen the genealogies which list Thomas Horton and Agnes Kinnebrew as the parents of Sarah. However, I have yet to find a marriage record or any other indications of this marriage. The genealogies [OneWorld] do have my family connected. However, the three genealogies linking this OneWorld association have no documentation. There is a Henry Kinnebrew in Elbert Co. at this time and his son (Richard Henry Kinnebrew did marry a Mary Lou Hulm and the Hulmes intermarried with my family. So, I will bear this connection in mind. However, I cannot eliminate the possibility of a connection with William Horton or this family. Here is why: The daughter of William Tollet Maxwell and Sally Horton {Sarah Emily Maxwell] married Strother Gaines Brown. His parents were John Willis Brown and Mary Ann Gaines. Mary Ann Gaines [b. 1822] was the daughter of Richard Strother Gaines and Annie Alexander. Two of Mary Ann Gaines sisters married Crawfords: Lucy Tinsley Gaines [b. 1812] married Burton E. Crawford and Milly Jane Gaines [b. 1833] married John W. Crawford. If Jane Crawford was connected with these Crawfords, then her granddaughter [if Sarah Emily Maxwell was her granddaughter] was marrying someone already connected with her family which tended to occur frequently in this time frame. I will have to wait and see what happens with the Mt-DNA test and see what names connect as matches. I will keep you informed.
I noted on the Maxwell Board that you posted a request in about 2000 for information on the Maxwells. Did you ever receive any information? If not I would be happy to share what I have.
