Forrest was my grandfather also.

Earl Forrest Horton
May 1976

Earl Forrest Horton, 74, of Odin and
formerly of Centralia, died at the Odin Care
Center at 7:15 p.m. yesterday.
He was born in Fayette County, the son of
Charles and Myrtle (Kelly) Horton. In 1928 in
Marion County, he married the former Louise
Kirgan, who survives.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Thursday at the Beery & Holt Funeral home
in Vandalia with the Rev. Frank Tittle officiat-
ing. Burial will be in Seminary Cemetery.
(I can't find an address for this cemetery)
I was told that there is a Horton lot with others in our line buried there.

Living in 1976 per obit:
brother: Don.
sisters: Waive Kern, Fern Kirgan, Florence Jackson.

There is a family book wrote for the Kirgan family.
Which, I don't have.

I know of a Buster but he's not Grandpa Forrest brother.

Hope to hear from you,
Candi
