Barbara, I'd be very interested in having access to the Horton information you mention... have tried twice to email you directly, but messages are returned. My known connection is to the Snowden family, who seem to have been part of a cluster of families, including Hortons, Doyles and others, who stayed together over several generations - at least until c 1790-1800 Rutherford NC and then into KY and MO. I'm studying the (presumably) allied families in an effort to put this all together and would greatly appreciate the Horton data... Am suspecting Anne (Granny)Snowden of 1790 Rutherford may have been either a Horton or a Doyle by birth. I know you can find my address above, but will post it here: kirk72@gulftel.com.
