I have a little info in the middle and can't seem to move on either end. I believe it starts with a James H. Horton b. 1826 in New York. He married Catherine in Brookhaven, Suffolk County, NY. If this is correct, his son Henry Edwin Horton b. 1853 in Patchoque, Suffolk, NY, a fisherman, was blown into Back Bay VA by a storm, decided to remain and married Mary in 1885. His son Henry Edwin Horton, Jr. b. Jan 25, 1888 was my grandfather. Henry Jr divorced my grandmother and founded a sailmakers shop in Perth Amboy, NJ. That's where the back end disappears and for curiousity I'd like to know what happened to him. As I said above, I'm guessing that James H. was my gggf; the time and place seems to fit but I can't find a direct connection. Anyone out there touch this line of the endless Hortons.
