Can someone identify these individuals and who Parmenus belongs to.
Jan 3 1740/1741 - Parmenus Horton of Southold NY, weaver, sold to Joseph Horton of Rye, the right in the White Plains - purchase of Benjamin Horton, my honored father deceased. I believe this P. Horton wound up in NC - d 1770 - He mentions Southold in his will and a sister by the name of Elizabeth Horton - Any help greatly appreciated.
