Horton - Warren connnection MA and NY ?

I'm a descendent of Peter Horton Warren (b. 1793, d. 1864)of Herkimer County, NY.

I believe Peter Horton Warren to be a 2nd generation descendent of General Dr. Joseph Warren (b. 1741, d. 1775 at Bunker Hill) who married Elizabeth Horton in 1764. Possibly through a son Joseph or Richard Warren.

Can anyone help connect the dots?
