Am looking for the Horton family from which Drada ("Drady") Horton came. She was born in Russell Co., VA, married Joab Watson Wilson in VA 1827, and died 1895 in Hazel Green, Wolfe Co., KY.
In previous research I have found an extensive Horton family in Stafford County, then Russell County, VA where one Daniel Horton (wife Mary) appears to be about the right timeframe.
Their children that I have found so far include Lewis (1801), Frances (1803) and Sally (18050. Our Drada was b. 11 Feb 1810. Could she be from this family?
Drady, as she was commonly known. and her husband moved to Kentucky after 1853. Their 10 children were all born in Russell Co., VA. Then two of their children were married in Wise County, KY and the youngest two were married in Wolfe County, KY.
Any leads appreciated in connecting Drada with her birth family.
