Deen, thanks for the link to Daniel Horton and his wife Mary. I have only one question about the data you gave, that being the death year for Daniel (1895). That is the same year that Drady died. Any connection??
My previous calculations had for some reason I need to dig out now, that Daniel died sometime "before 1843".
Which of the Horton lines are you connected to?
With this info on Daniel, I can now take Drady back four more generations, into the 1600s.
I'll do what I can to validate this info, and will be glad to pass on to you whatever I find that solidifies this link for Drady.
Are you in the Russell County area? Some of my previous research and correspondence has led to Mary W. Rhodes of Tazewell, VA, as somewhat an authority on these folks. There is also usually a Wilson family reunion there locally (Sword's Creek) that I need to attend soon.
My line descended from Drady and Joab Watson Wilson thru their son John Floyd Wilson and Rebecca Prater, to Thomas Henry Wilson and Mary Ellen Nickell, to Allen Leslie Wilson and Bessie Sanders, my grandparents.
Thanks again, and I'd appreciate any info on the actual source/even though unconfirmed/ for this link for Drady.
