My great great grandpa is Charles Albert Horton who was adopted by his stepfather a Metcalfe, when he was 4 years old his after his dad died, his mother lived in Addyston Ohio and remarried the Metcalfe. We think his mother is Dica Deer or Deere. Charles Alberts dad Thomas supposedly died 1894 4 years after chales was born.
and his DOB is Dec 1 1867 possibly. Also have a death date of 10-18-1912. Thomas lived near Gun Powder creek in Boone County, KY. We think his parents are John Horton and Lucinda Underhill. Any information would be appreciated.
