Thanks for your reply. I am trying to trace the family of Nancy House b. 1802 in SC, married William Couey and lived Floyd Co, GA. Her uncle Roland Cornelius d. 1842 lived in Kershaw, SC. I wondered if Averet House would be some kin of hers. Not much to go on I am afraid, and not my main line of enquiry either. I suspect Nancy's part the House line goes back to Bertie Co, NC and surrounding counties, then ultimately to VA. No other Horton information.
