Dear Ron,
My husband is a Houpt descendant also. I've been researching the Houpt family for several years and saw your posting. I'd really love to hear the stories you know of about the Houpts in Hot Springs if you would please share. I've been messaging with another researcher who is descended from Sallie Houpt Rutherford's sister Mary Leah Houpt Tate.He's found several things I had not seen before and made me think of your Genforum posting. Thought your stories might shed some light on several incidents that he and I had found over the last few years.
