Hi
have a will 1740 which mentions Richard Howle (I think) stone cutter of London, and wife Elizabeth. What is interesting is the chap who made the will had family near to a place called Howle in Shropshire (or Salop) There are other Howle places one in Durham plus Howle Hill which must be in Herefordshire & Worcestershire.
These places are not close together
