I have been in the-DNA project for about a year and have had more than a dozen matches of varying degrees. All of a sudden a Karl Howle pops up showing a distant ancestor Richard Howle in Shropshire, England in 1803. It will be interesting to see how this one fits in. Sometimes this DNA leaves more questions than answers. My most distant ancestor was born in Scotland in 1635 and migrated to America around 1670's. I never considered HOWLE as a variation, HYWEL was the correct Welsh spelling. MAN, I hope I'm not English ! Notify Administrator about this message?
