Zephania HUBBS, a native of Saratoga County New York, removed to Carthage,Jefferson County New York,
where he died. his wife Elizabeth bore him 7 children--Herman, Janette, William S., daniel, Amy, Bradley S., and Amelia. William s., b. Saratoga County, N.Y.; in 1880 removed to Brownville, N.Y. where he died in 1884, aged 58 yrs. He married first Doras CARPENTER, of South Rutland, Jefferson County, New York by whom he had two children--Ella and Zephaniah. He married 2nd to Priscilla, daughter of Marcus and Lucy (PHILLIPS) JOHNSON of Copengagen, Jefferson County, New York, by whom he had 2 children-George W., and Cora B.
Bradley S., HUBBS, served in the late war in Co. I. N.Y.H.A. and was honorably discharged.
