Mr Hart: I just posted this in the Hubbs Forum but thought you might have an idea where the Bible might be. I read parts of the book at the McClung collection in Knoxville TN . it was great

Any descendants of Hugh Hubbs 1825-1910 son of Revolutionary soldier John Hubbs 1763-1844 and third wife Mary Jones Hill Hubbs 1783-1875; Hugh hubbs married Mary Ann Zachary 1851 Knox County TN.
in 1899 Hugh was trying to help his daughter Sarah Jane Hubbs Mynatt; widow of Spencer Mynatt to receive a pension from Spencer's army sevice and in the Deposition given
13 April 1899 it is written
" Hugh states that he has a family Bible that was given to him by his mother and that has been in the family for over 50 years....( the examiner notes that the bible exists and seems to have been printed in 1819)".
My question is are there any descendants of Hugh Hubbs that might know where this Bible is ? it is a clue to the identity of Mary's children by her first husband Spencer Hill who died in 1814 during the war of 1812.
Any information will be greatly welcome.
Raymond Fred Dennis
