A brilliant idea - let's send Rebel ????

While typing a reply to an e-mail from Rebel, I had one of those "It couldn't possibly work" ideas. Most of us are stuck at the same place - with Benjamin Hagelberger in Alsace. It doesn't seem like anyone is getting anywhere fast in finding our dearest longings for information. Why don't we take up a collection and send one of our best researchers to Alsace and have them do the research for us. In lieu of this, a collection could be taken up to hire a researcher in Alsace. Personally, I want to find some answers. I didn't ask Rebel about this. But if he doesn't want to go; there are other experienced researchers in this list [I am not one]. What do you all think? How much would it cost? Is this too far out?
