Peter Casper and Mary Huckleberry are my gggg grandparents through their son William.

I have seen the connection with Pete Casper and the ship that you mention, but there was a Peter Casper of approximately the same age who lived in PA, took the Oath of Allegiance, fought in the RW and is buried in PA. My Peter is buried in VA.

I am interested in how the connection was made between MY Peter and the one who arrived on that particular ship versus the Peter who is now buried in PA? There were also several Peters living in NY during the same time period.
