i think the peter huckleberry that was in the CW was a son of charles frederick and rachel crockett huckleberry. he was b in 1842. the other peter huckleberry or maybe two peter huckleberrys born 175-1800 would have been a little old to have enlisted in CW.
in an early deed book of clark co exact date unknown, i show;
In Clark co deed book 6 it lists in the general index the sons of George Hucklebery as:
John, 3rd son, and John Huckleberry heirs; as A J, Peter N, Ed and J S Huckleberry.
This peter maybe listed in poll tax records of 1807-1811 in clark co IN and in the 1820 census. js
