Mary Ann Hurran married James Phillips at St Johns Hackney in 1819. In all census returns 1851, 1861, 1871, she claimed to have been born in Clerkenwell about 1798. After she was widowed, she worked as a baker, then later as a builder with her sons.
I would love to hear from anyone who knows this family.
Mary Ann was my GG Grandmother.
