Hi, it is me again. My Mother In-law,Mrs. Wester said she always remember Beulah saying her father (Hugh Jasper Iams)
was Dutch and her mother (Hattie Ellen) was French. Also your grandfather had an orchard. Stecker Ok. is now a ghosttown.(Dilapidated buildings, foundations, rut where railroad was) 9 miles southwest of Anadarko (Anadarku). You can not find it on a map today. It was a farming town that died out after the dustbowl.Hattie was a school teacher.
The info.of picture's in ealier message is at the Museum in Apache.I got Franis mixed up sorry, there are alot in the family. It is Elizabeth who did the research. My Mother in-law would like to get together, I explained after seeing Roberta's message you are working and may not be able to in the time limit she has set aside, (she is on vacation Oct.5-13)she would like to have us all go down together to Apache
Caddo Co. Oklahoma as a research party, and met with family
still living there.I also found info. on probate records
in Caddo Co. on Hugh J. Iams packet#1312,1918. Minors Iams
gaudianship 1919,packet#1420. Yes I do tend to ramble, I hope you can make sense out of it all. thanks,Angie
