Seeking further information on family of Hannah Iams b 1817 Greene Co PA d 1895 in same. Father probably was Thomas Iams, born 1783; died 1843 in Greene Co PA. He married (1) Mary Schmidt in 1807, born 1781. Thomas's father probably Richard Iams b: 1745 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland and Mother: Elizabeth Pottenger b: 1758 in Maryland
Hannah married Jesse Church b: August 15, 1812 in PA d: April 28, 1886.
A son: William M Church b: July 15, 1851 in Rogersville Greene Co PA d: January 17, 1932 in Council Bluffs IA
married Martha E Hanks b: January 1855 in IL m: October 31, 1881 in Osceola IA d: May 12, 1932. They lived in Carson, Pottawattamie Co IA and New Virginia IA. William was last living member of GAR post 414.
