Estella Iams b. about 1867 in Oregon according to the 1920 census in Whitman Co., WA #183, her father was born in Indiana and her mother in Illinois. On the marriage certificate, Estella Iams of Hartline, Douglas Co., Washington married Major A. Draper of Pullman, Whitman Co., Washington. The marriage took place in Lewiston, Nez Perce Co., Idaho on November 15, 1919. Unfortunately, the marriage certificate nor the marriage application gives any information as to the parents. I have the parents for Major. This was the second marriage for Major [which is his first name and not a title] who was born about 1852 in Michigan, father born in New York as was his mother. Is this the first marriage for Estella and does anyone have any clues as to her parents?
