Without question I’m almost certain this request for information on the following ancestry has been asked somewhere in one of these genealogy sites: Who are the pa parents of William Iiams b. ? d. ? and Elizabeth ? b. ? d. ?. They resided on Breakneck Road, East of Cumberland, Maryland. They had six children: Mary, b. 1780 d. 1860, Amos Hiram, b. 1783 d. 1853, William Henry, b. 1785 d. 1858, Rachel, b. 1787 d. ?, Rebecca, b. 1789 d. ?, and Jesse b. 1790 d. 12 June 1874. This William Iiams and Elizabeth, are my GGG Grandparents. I have seen reference that this William was the son of Richard Iiams and his 2nd wife Elizabeth Gaither. But, the date of this William’s birth somewhere around or after 1718 does not comport with the dates of the birth of his children. He would have been nearly 58 years old before the birth of his first child Mary. Does anyone have more detailed information on this William Iiams and Elizabeth of Breakneck Road, East of Cumberland, MD?
