I have been researching my family and have been unable to make any connection beyond my grandfather.
My father is Joseph Ibbitson. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.Oct 10, 1919. His father was Duke Ibbitson who was born in England. Duke emigrated to Canada in 1912. He settled in Toronto where he met and married Margret Spruit. They had 3 children. A daughter who died of a heart ailment at age 19, a son George who was killed in 1944 in the second war and a son Joseph who is still living. Any information or leads would be appreciated.
