hello,
my name is David Ibbitson and my family originates from the Bradford area of Yorkshire, Yeadon to be precise. My father was Fred Ibbitson b.1924, my grandfather Thomas Ibbitson b.1906 I think! I am interested in tracing my family tree beyond this and would be grateful for any information you may have. Both my father and grandfather worked in the wool mills, my father moving to Lancashire to work in cotton after the war due to his allergy to the oil in the wool. Hope this is of some use to you.
