My GG Gransmother Julia Ibbotson was married St Mary's Barnsley November12 1827. I am unable to find any reference to her birth. I did find Ibbotsons in Barnsley on the 1841 census but am not sure if they are related. I think that Julia's father or grandfather may have been called Joseph because their first son was called John Joseph(husband and possibly his father also called John). There is a Joseph in the family on the 1841 census and he is probably the father in law to the head of the house, Elizabeth Ibbotson. I wonder if anyone knows about these Ibbotsons on HO 107/1325/7 5 pg 2?
