Members of the Dobey and Stinebaker families are buried in the Dobey or Hoover Cemetery, Brown Co.

John Stinebaker, 1865-1932
George Stinebaker

and several Dobey family members.

I find Clara Stinbacker in the 1860 Pike Co., IL, census with her family, but they're enumerated as Stenbacker. James, 45; Charlotte, 35; Elmer, 15; Thomas, 12; James, 10; and Clara, 4.

In the 1880 census for Brown Co., Charlotte Stinebraker is in Brown Co., Buckhorn Township, age 56, with George, John, Mary, and grandchild, Adaline Dobey, age 6.

I don't find any burials for Clarissa or Clara Dobey or who her husband might be.

The Dobey settler who first came to the county appears to be William Doby (Dobey) who appears in Mt Sterling in the 1870 censuw ith wife Jane, sons William, John, Lorenzo (perhaps Cecero) and Franklin.
