My husband knew nothing about his ancestors except his ggrandfather's name was John McAuliff and he was born in Ireland. We have been able to find very little information except he married Sara E. Shuey, daughter of Henry Shuey and Effie Wigner. It has recently come to our attention that Sara was born and raised in Tuscola, Illinois. We don't know if this is correct or not. If anyone can help us with any information about the McAuliffs or Shueys, we would greatly appreciate it.
