I could not locate your new email address.

Bruce Power has a website at www.my-ged.com/power2

He does not list a Lucira Power, but has three Lucinda Power, but none married a Parks. There were none under the surname Powers.

Absalom Power and his wife came from Boonesville, KY around 1830-1831 to Milville, IL to partake in the Blackhawk War of 1832. Absalom Power and his wife Nancy McPherson had 11 children; I have only been able to trace five of them. None of those five had a daughter named Lucira. Siblings of Abaslom Power settled further south in Illinois in Sangamon County.

Absalom Power and his ancestors were Indian fighters, serving with Daniel Boone in North Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky. A Power ancestor married the niece of Daniel Boone, a Rebecca Boone, daughter of Israel Boone. You can find that on the Bruce Power website.

Sorry I could not be of more help on Lucira Power Parks.
