I am looking for information on John(b.1800) and Mary(b.1802- possible last name of Montgomery) Jenkins who were both born in Pennsylvania and then married (about 1826). Around 1830 moved to Knox County, Ohio. Children include: David Carlisle, William David, and Eleanor. The family moved to Logan County, Illinois in 1847, and in the 1860's family members migrated out to Jefferson County,Nebraska and then some of the members moved to Kansas. In the 1870 Jefferson Co., NE census it states that John's parents are of Foreign birth. William D. married Margaret Cook in 1856, Ill., they are my G.G. Grandparents. They had 5 children: Charles F.(G.Grandfather),Flora E., Hattie M., David C., and Maggie Irene. If anyone has info on John and Mary's ancestors, and/or their place/date of birth and death please respond. Would like to hear from anyone that is connected to this family. Thanks.
