Robert CARTER and Leehanna (aka Leaner) DAVIS b. 1797 in KY and d. after 1880 in Menard Co., IL; m. 23 Nov 1814 in Green County, KY. I know of only 1 child (Jemima CARTER) and she was b. 1817 in KY and m. Thomas GUM date unknown. I know of only 4 sons to their marriage. 1. George GUM b. 1850 in IL and 2. William GUM b. 1852 in IL and 3. Charles GUM b. 1854 in IL and # 4. Frank GUM b. 1857 in IL.
Unfortunately, I don't know the names of their spouses nor their wedding dates, nor their children. Could you help me with that informatioin? My name is D. Dixie Davis and I am a direct desc. of Goldsby DAVIS and have been researching this tree since I was 13 yrs. old. My email is dddgems@netsignia.net and I am 75 yrs. old. I will be glad to share. I have just signed up for the federal census and am looking up everyone and their families on it.
