NO Relation...

below is what I found on both the Larson family and on a Ole Molan.
To locate descendants of the Larson family, the best help I could find for you was locate death info on what I believe was some of the children from this family. Obits should name survivors and give you an idea of names and locations for them. Some of the more recent deaths I would check out white pages websites like switchboard.com or anywho.com to see if these survivors could be contacted.

On Ole Molan, I'm not 100% sure I found the right one altho this was not a common name. As you will see, I did locate some info on a person who fits yours, and located death info on him. Possibly a copy of his dc would name his parents, and then further info on them could be found. I could not locate Ole with any certanity on the 1880 census. Without a name, a volunteer would not be able to assist you further. I also could not find a connection between Larson and Molan in IL.

1900
Milan, Dekalb Co, IL
Larson, Lewis Oct 1864 35 married 12 years IL Norway Norway
celia, wife Oct 1873 26 IL Norway Norway
+ children
Molan, Ole, cousin July 1879 20 IL Norway Norway

1910
Lewis & Celia show having the following children: Harvey; Irving; Elmer; Leslie; Bessie; Raymond, Clarence and Arthur. Also shown living with them is Ole, brother, 58 widower IL Norway Norway. He is not Ole Molan. Ole Larson is listed in the 1900 census in DeKalb County as well.

as to DESCENDANTS of this Larson family, SSDI shows in Dekalb County.:
Irving Larson d. in 1983
Elmer Larson d. 1966
Harvey d. 1974
Raymond: Raymond in 1967; Raymond T in 1996; and Raymond L in 1996.
Clarence: d. 1973
Arthur: one d. 1866, an another d. 1994.
You should be able to locate obits on at least some of these men. Check out the SSDI at LDS for more specific dates and other info on them. Then check out epodunk.com for the towns/areas where they died to learn what newspapers serve those areas. Many of the newspapers have websites, which makes contacting them easier.

Family trees show me an Ole Molan, born 1879 in Iowa, m. to Lillie Maude Bishop. They had Lyle, Orville T, virginia D; and another shown only as Living.

From 1915 onward, I find an Ole Thomas/Ole T Molan in Kossuth Co, IA. Some info suggests he was born there, other suggest Illinois.
SSDI shows me Lillie Molan d. 1976 in Kossuth, IA.
