I am researching my husband's families and came into this lineage NEVILL & FLEMING of Perry and Franklin County, Illinois.
Looks as if Samuel Griffith NEVILL would be were the lineage starts.
Somewhere in the family is John Wesley NEVILL born in 1816 Jacksonville, Tennessee Died in 1868 Perry County,IL was married to Elizabeth Tawner born 1818 in Maryland and died in Perry county,Il.
They would become the parents of Elizabeth NEVILL born 1836 in Tennesse and died in 1916 in Perry County, Illinois.
This is my connection as she would marry Thomas FLEMING on 5 September 1856 in Perry County, Illinois.
Her surname is NEVILLE *note the "E" is added onto the name.
Does anyone have any further information? please email me if so.
