There's a Nancy Holsapple (could Nannie have just been a nickname?) in the 1880 Census that says
Nancy Holsapple age 2, daughter of Henry Holsapple.
This is the Eddyville, Lyon Ky Census.
If her and Walter had a son named Henry maybe she named him after her father??
The information came from www.familysearch.org
they have the entire 1880 census listed now for all the states. I typed in Nannie Holsapple and thats what showed up. Good luck.
