this is all I have on family... no mention of a son Carl.. Marion Daily Republican, published Mon 14 Oct 1963 front page: Mrs. Wilson Died Monday. Was Mother of Three Who Lost Lives During WWII. Mrs. Eula Wilson, 79, of 201 East College St. a native of Pope County and widow of H. A. Wilson, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday in Franklin Co. Hospital at Benton where she entered Friday evening. Mrs. Wilson's late husband was a retired Hurst-Bush High School principal. He died in 1954. Their three sons who lost their lives in World War II were Brigadier General Russell Wilson, who was killed in the initial allied bombing of Berlin in 1944 and whose body was returned to Marion in 1956 for reinterment; Col. Jack Wilson, who died in a plane crash off Okinawa in 1945; and Air Cadet Lowell Wilson, who died in a crash of a plane in 1940 during Air Force training in Texas. A son William died in infancy. Another son, Ronald L. Wilson, Captain, U.S. Navy (Retired) lives in Washington D. C. Other survivors include two daughters; Miss Louise Wilson of Marion, and Mrs. Michael (Kathryn) McCarty of Benton, four sisters, Mrs. Walter Beams, Rolla, MO, Mrs. Charles Dellaplain, Eddyville, Ill., Mrs. William McGuire, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Sallie Groves, Marion; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Wilson Funeral Home where friends may call after noon Tuesday. College St., who died Monday at 6.45 a.m. in Franklin Hospital, Benton. Mrs. Wilson was born Jan. 15, 1884 in Pope County, the daughter of the late L. H. and Martha Whitesides Russell. Friends may call at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Notify Administrator about this message?
