Hello!
What a small world this is. I just happened to click on this thread because it looked interesting. Little did I know that I would recognize a name in it and it be family.
Claude Holsapple was married to my Dad's cousin, Inez. I think Claude has since died but Inez is still alive and living in Chester, IL. Her number and address is in the current phone book. Both their names are listed. She might be able to help you. If they kept in touch with his family like they did ours, I'm sure Inez would know.
As for Claude only having one arm, that's true. He had an artificial one he wore and to tell you the truth as a little kid it used to scare the bejesus out of my sister and I! lol
