Does anyone know anything about a Rendleman School near or at Makanda. I've recently acquired an old (probably 1800's) photo of a school house (no date), with the entire student body outside, as was common back then, and on the pack side there is penciled "Rendleman School Groupe Makanda Illinois" I know of a Rendleman School south of Alto Pass, but this one is supposedly at or around Makanda. When I "googled" it it appears that it was maybe at Grassy ...Wherever that was...Any ideas???
