William Jackson EDWARDS marriage info help needed

I am looking for a marriage record or newspaper articles regarding my great-great grandfather, William Jackson EDWARDS. If you happen to live in or near Marion can you check resources available at the local library?

I believed William Jackson EDWARDS lived in or near Corinth Township (Williamson Country) between about 1850 through 1894. His birthdate is 13 Jul 1841.

All eight of his children were born in Williamson County (James Henry, Harve, Samuel, Hardy, and John are some of the names)

Many years later James Henry EDWARDS's death certificate, who was William's oldest son, indicated his mother's maiden name was "Mary EDWARDS". My guess is EDWARDS was her married name.

Other "un-sourced" records I found indicated William Jackson EDWARDS married Elisabeth Ellen MILLIGAN 14 Feb 1864. This may be inaccurate information since I am pretty certain William was still serving in the 18th ILL Infantry, Company D at that time.

Any help, advise, or information will be appreciated. ----Scott in Oregon
