Hi Mary,
You seem very nice and helpful,I wonder if you could try a lookup for me please? I am looking for Pleasant Long Finney 1815-1862. He died of TB coming home from Civil War in Kentucky. I am sure they collected him and brought him home.He owned a farm out near COunty Line cemetery at Corinth. I had a cousin check that but she didn't look very well I don't think. I wonder if you could check there and also Herrin City. I realize I have quite a few FInney's at Herrin. His wife;s name was Mary Dillon Finney Vancil.
By the way what Vaughn's are you? My Grandpa was Adrian Vaughn b 1915 from herrin and Union CO. His grandfather was Barney vaughn used to have a store at Goreville early 1900s.
I hope you can try to help and I really appreciate it! Thanks so much,Sandra
