I am interested in your Nelson Ruffin family. Nelson was son of Thomas Ruffin and Anna Jane Blanton (da of my gg grandfather). I like to know death date for Thomas and where he is buried. I believe Ann died 04 June 1872.
Sorry I don't have any info on Josie other than the census records you mention, but would like to hear from you.
