I just discovered this Immel Forum so I'm a "little late" replying to your message. I am related to the John Michael Immel you spoke of and would be happy to furnish you with whatever information I might have.
His first marriage was to Maria Barbara Krug and they had one son, Michael (DOB bet. 1762-1790, DOD 31 May 1823 in Montana).
His second marriage was to Sarah Cryder (Kreider) and they had 3 sons and a daughter. The first 2 sons were born in Huntingdon County, PA. The daughter was born on the Ohio River as they went to Ohio and the last son was born in Ohio.
His third marriage was to Silence Evans. I believe they had one son, Michael Immell (abt 1802 - 05May1877).
John Michael, Sarah Cryder and 2 of their children are all buried in the same cemetery in Ross County, OH as were many more Immels and Cryders.
You probably have all of this information by now, but perhaps it was of some help.
