My 2nd great grandmother name is Greta Upola.. I have heard though that it may also have been Impola. She was married to a Emmanuel Nurmesniemi. She may have been born in Haapavesi. Finland- and I want to say she died in Minnesota around 1942, but I'm not certain. I do not know who her parents are. And my great grandmother (her daughter), Maria Nurmesniemi b. Apr 10, 1875 Haapavesi Finland, d. 1945 Alexandria, Minnesota married a Leander Elg. Anything look familar?? Thanks! :)
