Ingram Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Larry. Sorry, I haven't visited this site for over a year, and could have helped your quest if I had. Robert E.L. Ingram contacted me when I queried John Ingram and Rebecca Washington, we are now linked in Facebook, and he has provided his entire family tree for me. I have found three dozen Ingram cousins because of him! Check his 2000 posting here in GenForum: Re: Ingram,George Washington 1830-1915. But then, maybe you've already been in touch with Bob.
Bob's and my gg-grandparents were brother and sister in Kilmichael, MS: Allen C. Ingram and Ann Eliza Ingram Flowers.
Bob knows a lot about his great-grandfather, George Washington Ingram. Bob's grandnephew, Lon Halterman, wrote a paper on that gentleman when he was young. Bob's niece, Carolyn Bennett Ugolini is a genealogist and volunteers at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. They will gladly help you with Ingram family research, especially for descendants of John, George, or Joseph, from Anson Co., NC.
Thank you for the info on George Washington Ingram. I'll add it to my Family Tree Maker notes. He is my 2nd cousin four times removed.
