Petersawalde, or Peterswalden, as Friedrich Engels rendered it into English, is 'Peterswaldau,' Kries Reichenbach, in the Eulengebirge (Owl Mountains) in Provinz Breslau, Schlesien. That is south of Breslau (Wroclaw)in Silesia, now part of Poland. This is the town where the infamously significant 'Weavers Revolt' of 1844 took place, on which Engels and Marx were inspried to write and publish the Communist Manifesto.
