John H Jackman was my great grandfather. I am looking for the exact dates for his birth in Indiana (1852-1854) and his death in Iowa in 1890. He married Margaret Ellen Stansberry 24 Dec 1879 in Lick Creek, Van Buren County, Iowa. Four children from the marriage are:
George Rolland Jackman b 13 Dec 1880 Adair Co Iowa.
James Bernard Jackman b 13 Dec 1882 Adair Co.Iowa
Lois L Jackman b 13 May 1886 Adair Co.Iowa
Clayton C Jackman b 09 Mar 1889 Adair Co Iowa.
James Bernard also known as "Jim"
Clayton C also know as Alfred or Pete

This is a followup on John H Jackman. I know have his Father as Joseph A Jackman: b 16 Sept 1825, Fredericktown, Ohio. Died 03 Mar 1864,Monroe, Mahaska County, Iowa.
His Mother was Nancy A Jackman b 1827 Jefferson county, Indiana. Died between 1850-1860 Indiana.
John had two sisters:
Eliza b 1848 Indiana
Ellen b 1849 Indiana
