I have in my files a Bounty Land Warrant application abstract for Richard Jacks, enlisted as a Private in the "10th Infantry" on October 7, 1814 and discharged April 24, 1815 in Raleigh, NC. In 1815 he was aged "about 40 years," was born in Baltimore County, Maryland, and was a farmer.

Warrant number is 1812-160-4056.

Which Richard Jacks could this be? His birth would have been approx. 1785.
