Debra, I have an unconfirmed name for Thomas' father but not his mother. Tod Loren Jacks of Florida whom my daughter found somewhere on the internet says his papers are packed away someplace so he was going from memory and states that he has not confirmed the data for himself. He has been so busy. He got married for the first time about a year ago, then this past August his mother-in-law died in Victorville, CA so they made the trip there where his wife had an accident but before that in June or July, they had their first baby so he hasn't had time for anything but he remembers the name as being Jone (or John) Jacks.

I think he was in Guam prior to Florida so I just hope he can still find the papers. Jean
P.S. My mother used to tell me that the Jacques family came from France and changed the spelling when they came to America. At some point, I was reading that some Frenchman who were being persecuted fled to England and then some came to America but I am not sure of the time frame now.
