I have a Richard Jacks that married Sophia Barnes (documented) in Madison Co., Ky., in 1797. He was a son of John Jacks, Sr. and Aseneth ?. John Jacks, Sr., died in Rowan Co., N.C. John Jacks, Sr., is believed to have been a son of Thomas Jacks, Jr., born in Anne Arundel Co., Md., 1786; son of Thomas Jacks, Sr., who died in Anne Arundel Co., Md., in 1757. Any information on this line will be very much appreciated.
