The 1880 Federal Census for Jacks, South Carolina (Laurens County), lists the following individuals under one household: "W. Young Jacks", age 45, born in South Carolina, as were both of his parents; "Laura L. Abrams", age 24, born in South Carolina, as were both of her parents. Her relationship to W. Young Jacks is listed as other - her occupation is listed as "Keeping House"; "Mary E. Jacks" (daughter), age 2, born in South Carolina, as were both of her parents; and "Johny Jacks" (son), age 3 months, born in South Carolina. I hope this helps you in your research...
