In 1841 Daniel B. Smith m. Elizabeth Jacks in Tallapoosa Co AL. The bondsman was William Jacks. Does anyone know what happened to this couple? A Daniel B. Smith later bought land in Coosa Co from the federal land office. Is this the same man? Or is he the Daniel Smith whose estate was probated in Tallapoosa Co beginning in 1848? So far, I haven't found a list of heirs for this Daniel.
